Evaluations and Assessments for ADHD
Compassionate, Clear Insight for Children, Teens, and Adults
If you’ve ever wondered why focus, organization, or social interactions feel harder — you’re not alone.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas, I offer ADHD and autism evaluations that help you understand your brain, your patterns, and your strengths.
These evaluations are designed to bring clarity — not labels.
You’ll gain a better understanding of how your mind works and what supports can help you thrive at school, work, and home.
What to Expect
Each evaluation is a collaborative process — we work together to explore how your brain functions day-to-day.
Here’s what the process looks like:
-
Conversation & History: We talk about your experiences, challenges, and strengths.
-
Assessment Tools: You’ll complete questionnaires and rating scales designed to explore ADHD and autism traits.
-
Input from Others (if needed): Parents, partners, or teachers may share observations to help build a full picture.
-
Feedback Session: We review results together. You’ll get a clear explanation of what they mean and what to do next.
-
Written Summary: You’ll receive a simple, professional report with insights, recommendations, and resources.
Who This Is For
This type of evaluation may be helpful if you or your child:
-
Struggle with focus, organization, or follow-through
-
Feel easily overwhelmed or “stuck”
-
Find social situations confusing or draining
-
Have intense interests or sensory sensitivities
-
Want to understand your brain better and find ways to support it
Who This May Not Be Right For
This evaluation is not a medical or neuropsychological test.
You may need a doctoral-level clinician (PhD/PsyD) or medical provider (MD/DO) if you:
-
Need formal testing for IQ, learning disabilities, or cognitive functioning
-
Need documentation for college testing or disability accommodations
-
Are pursuing legal, forensic, or Social Security evaluations
-
Need medication or a medical diagnosis
-
Have complex neurological conditions that require medical interpretation
If that’s the case, I can connect you with trusted professionals who can provide those services.

What Makes This Approach Unique
As a master’s-level clinician (LPC-S), my focus is on behavior, emotions, and daily functioning — how ADHD or autism shows up in real life.
Strengths of this approach:
-
Easier to access and more affordable than medical testing
-
Focuses on real-world individual experiences, not just numbers or scores
-
Includes practical recommendations you can use right away
-
Grounded in neurodiversity-affirming care — celebrating differences, not deficit
Limitations:
-
Does not include IQ or academic testing
-
May not meet documentation requirements for certain schools or workplaces
-
Does not include medication assessment or prescriptions
My Commitment
You deserve to understand yourself — or your child — with compassion and clarity.
My role is to help you uncover patterns, find language for your experiences, and identify next steps that truly fit your life.
Evaluations follow ethical guidelines for the state of Texas, ACA and the training and education obtained as a Master's level clinician. Referrals included when a higher level of testing is needed.
Whether this is your first step toward understanding neurodivergence or part of a longer journey, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence, kindness, and practical support.
Choosing What’s Right for You
Both types of evaluations are valuable — they simply serve different purposes.
An Exploratory Evaluation offers insight, validation, and practical recommendations for personal growth and understanding. This option is less time but no formal written documentation is provided.
A Comprehensive Evaluation provides formal diagnostic clarity and the level of documentation needed for educational, occupational, or medical settings. This tends to take a little more time as formal written reports are included in the process.
